Below is a (system wise) list of the possible side effects of Xefo Rapid Tablets.

Dizziness, headache, insomnia, somnolence, malaise, weakness - Skin and Subcutaneous Tissue
Alopecia, dermatitis, pruritus, rash, urticaria, purpura. - Blood
Thrombocytopenia, prolonged bleeding time, anemia, decrease of red blood counts, hemoglobin and white blood counts - Cardiovascular
Edema, hypertension, palpitations, tachycardia, hypotension - Nervous system
Sleepiness, vertigo, dizziness, paresthesia, tremor, taste perversion - Respiratory
Dyspnea, bronchospasm, cough, rhinitis - Genitourinary
Increase of BUN and creatinine, micturition disorders - Psychiatric
Agitation, depression - Liver and biliary system
Liver function disorders - Musculoskeletal and connective tissue
Myalgia, leg cramps - Eyes
Conjunctivitis, visual disturbances - Ears
Tinnitus - Immune System
Allergic reactions - Metabolism and Nutrition
changes in appetite, changes of weight
Xefo Rapid in Pregnancy and Lactation
As no adequate clinical experience has been established Xefo Rapid should not be used during pregnancy and lactation. The safe use of Xefo Rapid during pregnancy and lactation has not been established and therefore the drug is not recommended in such cases.
Effects on Ability to Drive and Use Machines
No particular warnings, as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs have not shown any effect in this respect.
Xefo Rapid Overdose
As yet there is no experience with acute overdose of Xefo Rapid (Lornoxicam) to allow description of potential consequences of overdose or recommendation of specific measures. However, the following symptoms may be expected as a result of overdose with Xefo Rapid
- nausea and vomiting
- cerebral symptoms (dizziness, ataxia to coma and convulsions)
- Changes of renal and hepatic function and possibly coagulation disorders
In the case of an actual or suspected overdose
The medication should be discontinued. Xefo Rapid will be rapidly eliminated as a result of its short half-life. This drug is not dialyzable. No specific antidote has yet been identified.
For treatment of overdose the usual supportive measures including gastric lavage are indicated. Principally, activated charcoal will only reduce absorption of the drug if given immediately following the administration of Xefo Rapid. Gastrointestinal disturbances may be treated with prostaglandin analogues or ranitidine.
