There are no major side effects of Cartigen Plus. However, some patients may experience nausea, diarrhea, heartburn, drowsiness, skin rash and headache. Patients who are hypersensitive to shellfish or any of the ingredients, should not take Cartigen Plus.
Important Precautions
Do not take Cartigen Plus if you are one of the following;
- Pregnant, you wish to become pregnant, a nursing women
- Children or elderly patient
Patients taking blood-thinners should be extremely careful if they take Cartigen Plus. Chondroitin (one of the main ingredients of Cartigen Plus formula) is chemically similar to blood-thinning drugs such as heparin, warfarin, and even aspirin, and could cause excessive bleeding.
